Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Erbe USA Inc of Marietta GA for the purchase of an APC 300 Argon Plasma Coagulator with an ICC 200 electrosurgical generator plus accessories. Purchase will include all delivery, installation, warranty, service manuals, and training as required for the William S. Middleton, VA Hospital in Madison WI. The Government believes that Erbe USA Inc.is the only company, which can provide this type of equipment, which uses argon for coagulation and includes an EndoCut feature for automatic control during sphincterotomy and polypectomy. Equipment must be compatible with existing GI accessories and patient return electrodes. NAICS: 339112. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes however, responses received on or before noon on July 26, 2001 will be evaluated. Offerors responding to this notice must provide proof that their equipment will meet the requirements stated herein. Information must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer and at a minimum include informational brochures of equipment, company literature, plus a list of at least three references from similar facilities who are currently using the equipment.
