Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to award a sole source cost plus fixed fee level of effort contract to Merdan Group, Inc. for technical Information Security (INFOSEC) support and guidance to PMW 173 in support of their Submarine Communication Support System and Virginia Class radio room systems engineering efforts. This is primarily focused on the replacement of Legacy Cryptographic devices with new programmable and embeded cryptos and to provide engineering expertise for transport of classified material across a local area network. Provide tecnical support in identifying, baslining, and reviewing candidate crypto requirements to integrate them into the SCSS and Virginia Class radio rooms in accordance with Navy and DOD policy. Provide technical support to recommend support to recommend wasy to identify requirements for cryptographic products that areapplicable to the SCSS and Virignia Class radio rooms. In accordance with Section 6.302-1 of the FAR, this is not a request for proposal and there is no formal solicitation available.
