Description

The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, Gainesville, Georgia, has a requirement for three vault toilets (SST technology) . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations, number RFQ 8-3-01-25. SUBMIT OFFERS: no later than close of business on August 10, 2001 to the Contracting Division, Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, 1755 Cleveland Hwy., Gainesville, GA 30501 or fax 770-297-3031. Include complete description of options quoted. Note that FAR Provision 52-212.3 must be completed and returned with your offer. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: SST style vault toilet, double model, ADA compliant wheelchair accessible, construction materials compatible with forest campground setting. (Preliminary market research indicates that the ROMTEC traditional double extended floor plan meets our requirements. This is not intended to indicate a preference for this manufacturer's item but is provided for offeror's information only). DELIVERY: Cohutta District Workcenter, Eton GA 30724. State FOB point and shipping cost. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The following provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. FAR Clause 52.212-5 paragraph (b) incorporates clauses 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, 52.225-9, and 52.232-33.
