- NSN: 2840-00-945-5617, APN: 1-060-340-01, Quantity: 21 ea. This action is applicable to the UH-1/AH-1/OV-1 (T53) Turbine Engine. Shipment will be FOB destination Texarkana, TX. This is a 100% small business set-aside and is limited to those small businesses which are approved. The approved small buisness sources are Electro-Methods, Inc, 330 Governors Hwy, South Windsor, CT 06074, Columbia Mfg Inc, 165 Rt 66 E, Columbia, CT 06237, Pye & Hogan Machine Co, 167-1 Elm St, PO Box 832, Old Saybrook, CT, and Slocomb JT Corp, 68 Matson Hill Rd, South Glasonbury, CT 06073-2428. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 21 each, 200 Days After Contract Award (DACA). The First Article Test Report is due 148 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Test Report is 21 each, 160 DACA. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.Redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. "By U.S. Law, participation in Small Business Set-Asides are restricted to U.S. small businesses; therefore, foreign requests for this solicitation will not be honored."
