Due to requirement change, this synopsis is hereby modified as follow:=20 "This acquisition is for the procurement of Liner, Augmentor, P/N: 4070107, NSN: 2840-01-308-4467NZ. The size and dimensions: 3.238 width by 13.490 length. The form fit and functions: Protects the convergent segment from extreme exhaust heat during augmentation. Applicable to =3D F100-229 Augmentor. Predominant materials of manufacture: Overall steel. Required delivery schedule is 62 each by 28 Feb 2002. The item will be ship to FB2039. NO TELEPHONE SOLICITATION REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. Information regarding how to become an approved source will be available in the solicitation. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards.
