- Description
- Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform seismic upgrade to Building 168, Warehouse, Alameda Point, Alameda, CA. Work includes: (1) Strengthening of roof horizontal trusses, (2) Strengthening of braced frames at the exterior walls, (3) Strengthening of roof framing connections with concrete firewalls, (4) Removal and replacement of foundations under the braced frames, (5) Removal of existing ventilation ducts, overhead space heaters and swamp coolers. Work location is at MARAD SBS Warehouse, 1651 Viking St., Alameda Point, Alameda, CA. 94501. Tentative date for issuance of the solicitation is Aug 7, 2001 with bid opening on Sep 7, 2001. Period of Performance is 6 months after receipt of notice to proceed. Any interested firm may request a copy of the solicitation for work on this project and all responsible bidders may submit bids which shall be considered by the agency.
