Description

The work includes comprehensive repairs to the interior and exterior of building 728, including asbestos abatement of cement asbestos siding and panels, as well as lead containing paint. The scope of work also includes repair to wood support piles and addition of wood piles for expansion of exterior deck. All floor planks and sheathing is to be removed and replaced. All doors and windows are to be replaced. The interior layout will include an office, a toilet, a parts storage room, a battery charging closet, and a mechanical room. New roof and roof deck as well as wall sheathing and wood siding will be installed. New electrical, mechanical and plumbing will be installed, and incidental related work. Proposed contract is unrestricted, NAICS is 233320 (SIC 1542), Size Standard is $27.5 Million. Estimated cost range is $100,000 to 250,000. Plans and specs will be available on or about 7 August 2001. Bid opening date will be on or about 6 September 2001. There is a $133.76 NON-REFUNDABLE charge for this solicitation package.
