Description

The Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices, Procurement Services Division, Room 1310G, Suite 400E, 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20220, is issuing this solicitation notice to vendors on GSA?s MOBIS and/or IT Services? Schedules. Treasury has the following requirements: (1) Requirement for a contractor to develop recommended process flow recommendations and to write complex administrative procedures for Debt Collection to be used by large multi-layered organizations and the general public. (2) Requirement for a contractor to provide consulting expertise in the administration of pension benefit plans on an as needed basis. The technical consulting expertise shall cover a variety of subject matter, including human resources, information technology, software module integration, benefit process flows, and pension plan regulations. Treasury intends on awarding a task order on a ?best value? basis to one contractor for the Debt Collection Procedures. For the consulting requirement, Treasury intends on awarding a task order on a ?best value? basis to at least one contractor. Treasury reserves the right to award multiple task orders for the consulting services? requirement. Any GSA vendor interested in receiving a copy of the Task Order Request Letter and Statements of Work (?Solicitation Package?) should contact Harry Shank via e-mail at the following address: harry.shank@do.treas.gov =20 All requests for the Solicitation Package must be received by 5 PM Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday July 25, 2001. Requests must contain the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, GSA Schedule/Contract Number, Phone Number, Fax Number, and E-mail Address. The Solicitation Package will be sent out via e-mail. Vendors requesting the Solicitation Package will be notified regarding their interest in giving oral presentations.
