Description

This Request For Invitation to Bids is to provide all management, supervision, labor, hand and power tools, materials, supplies, and equipment (except as specifically designated as ?provided by the Government?) and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective and economical completion of all services described herein. The Contractor must provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment (except as specifically designated "provided by the Government") and must plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective and economical completion of all services described herein.The Contractor is required to provide skilled craft manpower, which includes, but is not limited to Chief Engineer, Shift Engineer, Electrician Helper, Licensed Master Electrician, Lead Electrician, Licensed Journeyman Electrician, Electrician Specialist Technician, Licensed Journeyman High Voltage Technician, Electrician Lampist, Fire & Security Alarm Technician, Pneumatic & Electronic Control Technician, Finish Carpenter, DC Licensed 3rd Class Steam Engineer, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic, General Maintenance Mechanic, General Maintenance Worker, Utility Worker, Pipefitter, Licensed Journeyman Plumber, Maintenance Trade Worker, Planner Estimator, Mechanical Work Inspector, Quality Assurance Specialist in accordance with the requirements of this specification at various buildings with in the District of Columbia metropolitan area for the General Services Administration, National Capital Region, Public Building Service, for a period of one (1) year with the Government having the unilateral option to extend services for four (4) consecutive additional periods of one (1) year each.The solicitation issue date will be on or about July 25, 2001.This procurement is open to large and small businesses alike.This procurement is under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).Services are expected to begin on or about October 1, 2001, and continue through September 30, 2002.There is a bid guarantee required in an amount equal to 20% of the initial year price.The solicitation will ONLY be available on the following internet address under the General Services Administration(GSA), National Capital Region(NCR), Public Building Service(PBS), Triangle Service Delivery Team (WPZ) : http://www.eps.gov.All responsible non-excluded sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency.Bids will only be accepted at the GSA Regional Office Building, 7th & D Streets, SW, Bid Room ? 1065, Washington, DC.If you have any questions or concerns regarding this solicitation, please contact Patricia Ludlow-Mahmood on 202-219-1060.*****
