- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to procure services of a vendor to analyze, interpret and produce a report summarizing level TBI mortality, hospitalization and emergency department data for the U.S. population. The vendor will (a) consult with CDC's Division of Acute Care, Rehabilitation Research and Disability Prevention Team to select appropriate national datasets for TBI mortality, hospitalization and emergency department visits and develop a research plan, including a complete outline of the report and draft table shells; (b) conduct analyses of the datasets; and (c) prepare a report summarizing the results, which shall include the following: (1) an executive summary; (2) a description of the study methods; (3) tables and graphs showing the numbers, percentages of cases, and incidence rates, by age group, sex, diagnosis and external cause of injury; (4) written interpretation of the findings and (5) a summary of conclusions. Minimum Vendor Qualifications: the vendor must have a broad knowledge/expertise and five years minimum experience in conducting research on the epidemiology of TBI, including published reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts based on large national TBI datasets.
