Description

Frequency Hopping Multiplexer (FHMUX), TD 1456/VRC, NSN 5820-01-365-2721, estimated maximum quantity of 450. Contract also to provide spares, field maintenance and repair, and ancillary data. The resulting contract is to be indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, firm fixed price and time-and-materials. The FHMUX is an antenna multicoupler used with the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) which allows for the multiplexing of up to four SINCGARS to transmit and receive using a single antenna. Acquisition is proposed sole source to Xetron Corp, Cincinnati, OH. Any responses to this notice are due within 20 days after this notice is published. The determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this acquisition after receiving responses to this notice is within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Subcontracting to small and small disadvantaged business will be a contractual requirement. See Note 22.
