Description

Work includes, but not limited to, pick-up, delivery, workmanship and service for inspection, classification, repairing and retreading/bead-to-bead remolding of U.S. Government-owned pneumatic tires. The contractor shall supply the Government with repaired and retreaded/bead-to-bead remolded tires of various sizes and tread patterns as specified. This is a requirements type contract with a twelve (12) month base period of performance and a possible four (4) concurrent option periods, each with a twelve (12) month period of performance. This project is 100 percent set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The applicable small business SIC Code is 7534 and the size standard is $10.5 Million. It is possible that multiple awards will be made based on evaluation of bids submitted. The projected solicitation issue date is 6 August 2001 with responses due 29 August 2001. Solicitations will be provided to Small Business Concerns in response to written requests only. Reference the solicitation number, state the requestor's name, mailing address, and telephone number; also furnish the Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN), DUNS Number, and Cage Code.
