Description

The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC is looking for additional manufacturing sources for the M139 Volcano Components. The required components consists of the following: Dispenser Control Unit (DCU): NSN 1095-01-260-2732 ARDEC P/N: 9366462 with Container PA139: ARDEC P/N: 12553070 Launcher Rack: NSN 1095-01-259-9080 ARDEC P/N: 9378653 with Container PA140: ARDEC P/N: 12553074 M200A1 Trailer Mounting Kits: ARDEC Part Number 12998169 The estimated quantities are 15 each for the DCU, 30 each for the Launcher Racks and 18 each for the Mounting Kits over a two year period. There is an anticipated three year option for Logistics Support after production. The drawings for these items may be obtained from the point of contact listed below. The current source for these items is Intellitec, Inc. (Cage Code 52973). Manufacturers capable of producing these items must so indicate in writing to Commander, US Army TACOM-ARDEC, Attn: Ms. Shannon Wagner, AMSTA-AQ-APA, Bldg.10 Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000; e-mail: swagner@pica.army.mil, Phone: (973) 724-4152 or fax (973) 724-7676. Responses must include capability documentation such as test results and copies of purchase orders if the manufacturer previously produced either of the items for Intellitec. Capability documentation can also include a statement from Intellitec certifying that the manufacturer can, in fact, produce an item which will physically and functionally be interchangeable with items from Intellitec. Prospective manufacturers may be required to warrant that items produced will perform satisfactorily when used for the intended purpose by the military. The anticipated delivery schedule for the first unit is 10 months after contract award.
