Description

The intention of this solicitation is to obtain all labor, supplies, material, equipment, transportation, facilities, utilities, supervision and management; unless otherwise specified; required to provide Maintenance & Repair of Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) at NSWC Crane, IN. The accomplishment of this work effort will be via a Firm Fixed/Indefinite Quantity Contract (FFP/IQ) utilizing the Commercial Acquisition Procedures found in the Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12. The contract will also provide for four (4) additional 12-month periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This solicitation will be evaluated on the offeror's technical submission and price quotation. Technical and price factors will be equal in significance. Offerors are required to submit separate technical and price proposals for the project. As a result of this Request for Proposal, the offeror determined to be the best in ability and value to the Government will be awarded this contract. Technical proposals will be evaluated on the factors listed in the solicitation and will include past performance in similar work, performance narrative, and project schedule. This proposed contract listed here is an Unrestricted Procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Size Standard is $5 Million. approximate release date is July 30, 2001. Approximate proposal due date ill be August 30, 2001, 4:00 pm local time, Crane, Indiana.
