Description
The U. S. Fabricate and install a new 5' x 5' x 2.5' reinforced concrete base, and a new 20' government furnished aids to navigation tower after construction of the new foundation. Tidal variations will require the placement of sandbags continuously around the bottom perimeter of the form-work and removal of same after completion of work. Project site is located in the Revillagigedo Channel on a partially exposed reef/rock formation and requires a barge or appropriate floating work platform. Cutter Rocks Light is approximately three nautical miles south of the city of Ketchikan, Alaska. Once on site all work shall be completed prior to November 1, 2001.
