Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Improvements to PR Highway 191. This is a re-issuance of IFB R8-03-00-11 from last year. Project consists of drainage improvements, guardrail replacement, and pavement overlays along several segments of PR Highway 191 (total length 2.975 km). Drainage improvements will include the construction of concrete paved waterways, cleaning out roadway ditches, grading out poorly drained areas and erosion control. PROJECT LOCATION: From PR Hwy 3 in the Rio Grande vicinity, turn south onto PR Hwy 191, then south to the beginning of the project at km 4.6 SITE SHOWING: A non-mandatory site showing will be conducted August 29, 2000 at 9:30 am. Meet at the Caribbean National Forest Catalina Service Center, Road 191, km 4.4. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND DRAWINGS: are available by mail from the issuing office.
