Description

The intent of this project is to construct a trailhead parking area for vehicles pulling snow machine trailers. An existing road will be reconstructed approximately 1600 feet, and a new section of road will be constructed, approximately 350 feet, to provide access to the parking area (roughly 150 feet by 300 feet). The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies. The project site is located approximately 4 miles north of Seward, Alaska. The estimated start work date is late September 2001. The contract time will be 365 calendar days. Estimated price range for the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be posted to our web site (URL address shown below) for downloading by C.O.B. (local time) on August 3, 2001. It will be the responsibility of the bidder to check the web site for any amendments to the solicitation.
