Description

Invitation for Bids ("IFB") GS05P01GCD0008 is a resolicitation of the requirements of cancelled Request for Proposals ("RFP") GS05P01GCD0001. IFB GS05P01GCD0008 provides for armed and unarmed uniformed security guard services (SIC 7381; NAICS 561612) at GSA-controlled and GSA-supported facilities located in North Ohio. IFB GS05P01GCD0008 is a national set aside for competitive award through the U.S. Small Business Administration's 8(a) program. The contractor shall provide all required labor and services, including conventional-uniformed guards and supervisors; managers; materials; supplies; accessories; uniforms; equipment (2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive patrol vehicles, revolvers, batons, etc.), licenses and permits; insurance; coordination; planning; reporting and all other support required to lawfully provide contract-required security guard services. No performance or bid bond is required. When awarded, the indefinite-delivery, requirements service contract resulting from this solicitation will have a single one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with an estimated five year life-of-the-contract value of about fifteen million dollars. Solicitation files are expected to be available for downloading on or about July 30, 2001, via either of the following two internet websites: http://eps.gov -or- http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
