Description

PARTS CLEANING AND DEGREASING SOLVENT CUSTOMER OWNED MACHINE SERVICE. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Period of performance is 1 Oct 01 ? 30 Sept 02 with two one-year option periods. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number for this request is F22608-01-T-0075 and this is a Request for Quote. (iii) Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Copies of applicable provisions and/or clauses may be obtained by calling the point of contact listed in this announcement. (iv) This RFQ is set-aside for a small business; the NAICS code is 235990 and the size standard is $11.5 million. (v) In this solicitation, the estimated requirement is for the contract period of one year with two one-year option periods. There are three line items in this solicitation and quotes are being requested by ITEM, DESCRIPTION, UNIT PRICE, AND TOTAL PRICE. Services non-personal: Provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, and transportation necessary to perform the services as a Parts Cleaning and Degreasing Solvent Customer Owned Machine Service to include regular exchange of solvent in customer-owned parts cleaning equipment consisting of: (1) Exchange of dirty solvent for clean solvent on prescribed interval; (2) Labor, handling, and transportation of solvent to and from user site to contractor?s facility; (3) Filling out of appropriate EPA manifest; (4) Cleaning of customer owned parts cleaning equipment including removal of sludge and residue therein; (5) Solvent is contractor?s IAW MSDS PN 6617; (6) Service interval as follows: BUILDING GALLONS PER INTERVAL NUMBER OF LOCATION MACHINE OF SERVICE SERVICES 630 (HYD SHOP) 120 8 Weeks 7 30 8 Weeks 7 HANGAR 4 10 12 Weeks 4 HANGAR 6 30 12 Weeks 4 411 (AGE) 30 10 Weeks 5 218 (Balance) 20 12 Weeks 4 10 12 Weeks 4 218 (Welding Shop) 20 4 Weeks 13 218 (FLOW) 30 2 Weeks 26 220 (Wheel & Tire) 47 4 Weeks 13 (Two machines) =09 (vii) Services to be performed at Columbus AFB Education center for the period of 1 Oct 01 through 30 Sept 02.
