Description

Provide labor and material to pickup and incinerate and/or acceptable disposition as regulated by State and Federal EPA guidelines the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN infectious medical waste (including needles). Contract to include delivery of containers and five to six days per week pickup of contractor-furnished 44 gallon barrels, appropriately sanitized, disinfected and labeled. Estimated waste is 11,400 pounds per month. Contractor to furnish approximately 200 barrels for VAMC/Contractor use. Period of performance is October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002 with two additional one year options to renew. NAICS 562112 applies and the Small Business Standard is $10 million.
