Description

FISC Puget Sound is searching for sources that can provide 100% U.S.-manufactured safety shoes in accordance with the restrictions set forth in 10 USC 2241 NOTE. This means that EVERY material component (including all natural and synthetic fibers) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, or produced in the United States or its possessions. In addition, ALL labor associated with the shoe manufacturing process must occur in the United States or its possessions. The shoes must be 100% manufactured in the United States or its possessions. Please respond to this notice with either positive or negative information. If your firm offers a safety shoe that is 100% U.S.-manufactured, please submit, at a minimum, the following detailed information regarding each available safety shoe: 1) ALL material components; 2) the EXACT place of origin of each component (city & state at a minimum); 3) what percentage of the shoe's cost each component represents; 4) the EXACT point(s) of manufacture (city & state at a minimum); and 5) the published catalog price per pair.
