Description

This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the subparts in Federal Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A written solicitation will be issued. Solicitation number 531-01-02 applies and will be issued as a request for proosals. The solicitaiton document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. NAICS Code 339115 applies at 500 employees. Contractor to provide glass lenses in eyeglass frames provided by the VISN 20 Eyeglass Laboratory of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Boise, ID. Contractor shall fabricate glass lenses per prescription provided by and in eyeglass frames provided by the Government. Contract is anticipated to be for the base period with two one-year options to renew. Technical questions must be forwarded in writing to the Contracting Officer and may be via facsimile at (208) 422-1139. Verbal questions will not be addressed. All responses to questions, which may effect offers, will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation. Subject to the availability of funding.
