Description

The uninterruptible power supply (UPS) shall automatically provide power, without delay or transients, during any period when the normal power supply is incapable of performing acceptably. The UPS system shall include a 500 kVA 3-phase, on-line, static-type, uninterruptible power supply system, complete with battery and battery circuit breaker. The system shall be factory fabricated in 2 or more modular cabinets, 1 housing the battery and the others the remaining system components. The system shall be designed to provide the following features and/or operate under the following conditions (this list of items is not complete -- see the attached specifications for complete requirements):A. An automatic operating system. B. A manual operating system. C. A maintenance operating system. D. Environmental Conditions found at the site. E. Minimum Duration of Supply. F. Minimum System Performance When Supplied from Battery. G. Minimum Overall System Efficiency. H. Alarm Indications. I. Minimum System Performance When Supplied from Battery. J. Minimum Capacity. K. Minimum Enclosure Assemblies. L.Surge Suppression. M. Minimum displays. More detailed specifications will be furnished with the solicitation.
