Description

U.S. Customs has a requirement for a surveillance system at the Port of Newark, NJ. This is a combined sysopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This requirement is set aside for small businesss. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 513390 and the small business standard is $11 million. This solicitation document and incorportated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Circular 97-27. A statement of work will be furnished to all interested responsible small business firms. A technical proposal and a cost proposal will be required. The award will be made to the technically acceptable firm that offers the lowest price to complete the project. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested firms. Proposals will be due not later than August 16, 2001 at 3PM local time.
