Description

SUPPLIES SOURCES SOUGHT. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Logistics Support Center (NLSC) has a requirement for twenty (20) motors, NSN: 6105-01-394-5305; WSN: R400-2A1A1B1. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The company is Electromechanical Systems, Inc., 6200 118th Avenue N, Largo, FL 33773. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In order to be considered, firms must furnish detailed information concerning their capability to provide this product. Such information shall include at a minimum: name; telephone number and point of contact; ability to provide the above referenced transmitters and the names and telephone numbers of firms to whom this product or similar products have been previously provided. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by submitting the information requested above referencing Request For Quotation No. NWWG0140124227PY. If no qualified responses are received, the Government intends to contract with Electromechanical Systems, Inc. for the required supplies.=20 =09
