Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to renovate existing space for battery chargers located on the 8th floor in Bldg. #1 and in the warehouse in Bldg.#2. This shall include some architectural work such as renovating existing walls, painting, ceilings, installing new dry walls etc. Contractor shall also install new HVAC in the telephone room in Bldg. #1 basement. All work shall be done in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided. The estimated construction cost for this project is between $100,000 -$250,000. The NAICS(National American Industry Classification System)Code is 235110. All requests for bid packages must be submitted in writing. A non-refundable fee of $25.00 is required prior to receiving bid packages. Checks should be made out to the VA Medical Center-Agent Cashier. The completion time for this project is 180 calendar days. The issue date for bid packages is 7/12/01, tentative bid opening date is 8/13/01. Telephone requests will not be accepted. NOTE: This procurement is issued in accordance with the Small Disadvantaged Business Participation Program and includes a 10% price evaluation adjustment for small disadvantaged businesses.
