Description

The following solicitation will be issued on or about 27 Jul 01: F14614-01-R0002. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, expertise, testing and equipment necessary to complete work in accordance with Drawings and Specification for Capehart Housing Repair, Phase B at McConnell AFB. This project will repair, replace and improve selected items that have fire/life safety deficiencies, contain deteriorated or worn materials, and have substandard conditions. The fire/life safety deficiencies include: installation of draft stops between duplex units, replacement of outdated electrical wiring and replacement of basement windows with escapable daylight windows. The deteriorated materials include: furnaces, wood floors, driveways, sidewalks, stoops, and exterior brick & fascia. The performance period is 290 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System code assigned to this acquisition is 233220. This requirement will be solicited unrestricted to both large and small business. The Request for Proposal (RFP) package will be available for downloading and viewing at http://www.eps.gov. A site visit will be conducted on or about 7 Aug 01 at McConnell AFB. Exact site visit and proposal dates will be available upon issuance of the solicitation.
