Description

NOTE: Any prospective bidder/offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation MUST REGISTER ON OUR WEBSITE AT https://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/. Plans and specifications will be issued in paper format and will be provided free of charge. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work includes removal of 6000 gallon oil tank, provide natural gas to the building, handicap ramp, abate asbestos and lead as required to accomplish the work, provide new finishes throughout, new doors and frames, re-roof the building, provide new addressable fire alarm system, provide new mechanical systems for two wings, new plumbing throughout the two wings, provide two gas fired hot water heaters, provide temporary electrical service for the A wing while construction is underway, provide new three phase transformer, provide new power and lighting throughout the two building wings, demolish all systems that are being replaced. Estimated cost range of project is $1,000,000 5,000,000.00. Network Analysis System will be required. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988." Options will be included in the contract. This solicitation will be available on or about 07/27/01. For amendments that are posted only on the internet and Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (SF30), and a list of revised specifications and drawings will be mailed to each bidder.
