Description

Project involves the construction of a new pre-stressed concrete slab bridge superstructure after the removal of an existing steel Bailey bridge superstructure and timber deck system. Modifications to the existing concrete abutment walls to accommodate the new cast in place concrete backwalls and wing walls will be required. The installation of metal bridge railings and approach guardrails will also be included. Backfill and grading at both approaches will be necessary prior to the placement of aggregate base and hot asphalt concrete. Estimate cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Contract time will be 80 calendar days. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 6, 2001.
