Description

U.S. GOVERNMENT SOLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT, ATLANTA, GA. As required by 41 U.S.C. 253(f), this serves to provide notice that the U.S. Government intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for a succeeding lease of appproximately 32,775 Rentable Square Feet of training and some office space at the Cambridge Building in Koger Center, Atlanta, GA. A new contract will be created to reflect a 10-year, 5-year firm term. It would cost the Government approximately $1,000,000 to duplicate the facility which houses approximately 19 cleassrooms and is a main training HUB site for the area. This center recruits in excess of 2,000 seasonal employees to assist in the preparation of roughly 13,000,000 documents each year. The recruitment effort is extremely agressive using multi-media to gain interest and tests up to 10,000 people per season. Due to the nature of the service this facility provides, this critical need requires the space to be delivered by February 29, 2002. In addition, the employees at this location must coordinate and share resourses with other employees in 5 leased buildings in the immediate surrounding area. It is economically advantageous to have the space located at or near this site.
