- 8010-00-908-0362 UI: KT 1 ORDER FOR 157 KITS COATING KIT, RAIN EROSION RESISTING: DESCRIPTION: A two component flat black conductive coating, for bleeding off static electricity and providing rain erosion and abrasion resistance to critical air frame areas, deicing equipment, and propeller blades. Resistant to jet fuel, skydrol 500 hydraulic fluid, and impact. Brush or spray application. Maximum, surface resistivity shall be 25,000 ohm per square. Size -- kit consisting of approximately 940 milliliters (1 quart) of resin and 240 milliliters (0.5 pints) of catalyst. Dexter Corp., Paints and Coatings Div., product number 8B6A Age on delivery shall not exceed three months. Date of reinspection shall be 24 months from date of manufacture. ITEM MARKING (1) National Stock Number (NSN). (2) Specification number (Including type, class, and color number) as applicable. (3) Manufacturer's name and part number. (4) Kit Name and Component Part. (5) Lot and Batch Number. (6) Date of Manufacture and date of expiration or reinspection (month and year). (7) Instructions for use. (8) Storage Instructions. PACKAGING The components of each kit shall be packaged in multiple friction closure metal cans in accordance with the supplier's normal commercial practice, provided that there will be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents so as to damage the container or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. The containers shall be closed in a manner that will insure that the contents will not spill or leak from the containers during shipment, handling, storage and redistribution. Components of each individual kit shall be further packed together in kit form that will prevent accidental separation of the components during shipment, handling, storage and redistribution.
