Description

Readjustment Counseling Services for eligible Vietnam Era Veterans located in Kent and Sussex Counties in Delaware, Carolina, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worchester. Services will be referred by VA Outreach Program Officials. Readjustment Counseling Services, for purposes of this contract, shall be counseling provided by Social Workers, Psychologists or other counselors individually or in concert, specifically directed at social, psychological, or behavioral problems which bear a distinct relationship to the process of readjustment from military duty during the Vietnam Era and other specified veterans of war. Modalities of readjustment counseling may include, individual, group, and family counseling (other than job training, skills development and placement services).Prospective bidders submitting offers in response to this request for proposal must have treatment centers located in the locations listed above. Proposals outside these areas will not be considered. Bidding material will be available on July 31, 2001 upon written request from interested eligible bidders. This procurement is subject to the availability of fiscal year 2002 funds. Proposals are due by 4:30 pm on August 31, 2001.
