Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12 .6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation ; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is SP4700-01-T-0041. The solicitation is used as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses ar e those if effect through FAC 97-24. This solicitation is not a set-aside. The NAICS code is 51421. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has a requirement to survey and update SPAN-FM version 6.3a or Facility Center, whichever is in service at the time of the survey. Period of Performance will be 10 weeks. Tasks include a survey of occupied space, approximately 560,5 00 square feet, to confirm the location of sheetrock walls, doors, furniture, room numbers, and telephone numbers. The gove rnment will provide a file of occupants names and organization correlated to the phone number. The contractor will integrat e this data into the drawings correlating the two files based on phone numbers. All freestanding furnishings will be depict ed in the drawings exception of tack boards on system furniture, keyboard trays, mouse pad, and pencil drawers other excepti ons to be approved by the COR. Furnishings must be depicted on the appropriate CAD layer, consistent with AIA layering conv entions. The contractor shall polyline drawings per GSA BOMA standards. Drawings will be hatched in patterns to provide a unique pattern for each organization. Additionally the Government will provide a workstation and access on a node to the SP AN/Facility Center network Database; Mechanical rooms, electrical closets and communication closets are not included in the survey; Drawings shall be updated to a tolerance of plus or minus One (1) inch for fixed building items, walls and doors, an d to plus or minus Six (6) inches for system furniture partitions and furniture. All contractor employees that require acce ss to the building will be required to completed a DLAH Form 1728, Request for Contractor Badge and Standard Form 85P Nation al Agency Check. Ms Bridget Pointer is the POC for DLA security questions 703-767-7144. Deliverables are 45 updated archit ecture and furniture drawings, layered in accordance with AIA guidelines, Hardwalls, doors, etc updated to current configura tion, systems and free standing furniture updated to current configuration. Five (5) updated polylined drawings. All drawi ngs placed in the production file area and also provided on CD. Provide backup of all SPAN space and personnel databases on CD. The contractor shall provide a plan/schedule on how the surveys and updating the database will be completed within t he period of performance.
