Description

Provide all supervision, plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to perform all work in connection with the removal of an existing airfield hanger fire protection dry pipe system and replacing it with a pre-action foam-water system using Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) in strict accordance with the statement of work, specifications, drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235110. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Construction". This will be a 100% HUBZone business concern set-aside procurement issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.13 -- Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program. The award of a contract will be Subject to Availability of Funds (SAF) and is estimated to be between $250,000.00 -- $500,000.00. The anticipated solicitation issue/posting date will be on or about 1 August 2001. Note: The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting date on Fort Drums Web page. All responsible certified HUBZone business concerns may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out, hardcopies will not be provided and no bidder mailing list will be maintained. Interested parties must download the solicitation from the Fort Drum Contracting Web page. All eligible sources wishing to bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting Web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the bid as non-responsive.
