Description

Work will consist of construction of a 50 vehicle paved parking lot with access road. Work will include clearing, grading, aggregate and asphalt placement, striping, placing rock barriers, and realignment of a trail. The project is located near Truckee, Ca., travel east on Interstate 80 approximately 7 miles to the Hirshdale exit. Follow Road 270 (Stampede Dam Rd.) north 7 miles to Road 261 (Dog Valley Road). Travel west on Road 261 2 miles to Road 261-6. (This is road to boatramp). Project is approximately 1/2 mile north on Road 261-6 on the left. Price range $100,000 to $250,000. Estimated start work date is the end of September 2001. Solicitation issue date 08/13/01. Contract time 55 days. Bonding required.
