Description

This notice serves as further clarification to the information stated in the CBD notice posted on CBDNet on 29 June 01 regarding release of the draft solicitation. The Industry Commentary Forum previously referenced in Section L2 of draft RFP N00421-01-R-0179 (available for review at http://www.navair.navy.mil/business/ecommerce) has been scheduled for Monday 23 July 01 and will be held at the Hampton Inn Thomas/Thompson Conference Room, 22211 Three Notch Road, Lexington Park, MD 20653. The Forum will begin at 9:00AM EDT. Directions are provided below. All interested Offerors who have not already done so are instructed to contact the Contract Specialist via email at francoa@navair.navy.mil by close of business Monday 16 July 01 to register for the Forum. Telephone requests will not be accepted. At this time there is no restriction on the number of representatives allowed to attend the Forum on behalf of one company. However, in the event space becomes limited, companies may be asked to limit their number of attendees accordingly. Registration shall be made in the format provided in Attachment 11 of the draft RFP. Please submit all technical and contracting questions concerning this solicitation to the Contract Specialist's attention via email by close of business Monday 16 July 01 to ensure the Government will have time to adequately address any questions/concerns. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Please submit questions in the format specified in Attachment 7 of the draft solicitation. Questions and answers will be considered by the Government and may or may not be incorporated into the official solicitation. ***************************** Directions to the Hampton Inn The Hampton Inn is located at the intersection of Route 235 and Pegg Road, across from Gate 1 of Patuxent River Naval Air Station. From North: Route 235 (Three Notch Road) South to Lexington Park, hotel on right. From South: Route 235 North to intersection at Pegg Road. Left on Pegg Road then first right.
