Veterans and Service Connected Veterans with businesses, or looking to enter the business-world are invited to attend a FREE workshop on "Doing Business With The Department of Veterans Affairs" on July 19th, at the Westchester Community College, 75 Grasslands Road, Technical Building, Room 130, Valhalla, NY 10595. The event will focus on VA's Acquisition Programs, Public Law 106-50 -- The Veterans Entrepreneurship Act, as well as who our partners are under the act. Registration Starts at 8:30 am, and the program begins promptly at 9:00 am and will last until 12:30 pm. The conference is hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise, and sponsored by the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) of Rockland, NY. It will provide veterans, service-disabled veterans and small business owners the opportunity to meet learn about services available through the federal government, and local communities.
