Description

MOBILE OFFICE UNIT, SOLICITATION IDAWY-80-01 DUE 07/27/01. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation #IDAWY-80-01 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27. The NAICS Code is 453930. Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Item 01 -- One (1) Ea Mobile Office Unit, New, approximately 24'X60', easily mobile, since the unit will be moved frequently from site to site. (Unit may be two halves, designed and constructed to be joined on site.) Must have four separate private offices, two ADA-compliant restrooms, common workspace in center of unit, and two entrances on same site of unit. Snow load conditions: at least 30 lbs. Price quote shall include delivery and all set up. Item 02 Necessary Wheels and outrigger frame(s) for use in moving above unit. Item 03 -- All necessary anchors and tie downs for above unit. Item 04 Skirting for above unit. Delivery Location: Salmon-Challis District Ranger Compound, Challis, ID. Delivery Date: Approx. August 6. Acceptance and FOB point Challis, Idaho. Provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition with the following addenda: Offerors shall included the following information when submitting a quote under this solicitation: (1) Manufacturer's specification sheet for item or items offered, (2) Description of warranties available with each item offered, (3) Design/Floor Plan, (4) References (past customers who have purchased similar products), (5) Earliest possible delivery date for item(s) offered. Offerors shall also include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with their offer. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Price, (2) Past Performance, (3) Quality, (4) Floor Plan or Design, (5) Delivery Date. The Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
