17. General Services Administration on behalf of Army CECOM intends to award on a sole-source basis to ITT Industries, Aerospace/Communications, 1919 W. Cook Road, Ft. Wayne, IN 46801 for ITT?s Tactical Voice Recognition System (TVRS) entitled, Command Voice!. Command Voice! provides state-of-the-art speech processing technology in real-time during high noise and high stress combat environments, adapts to different speakers, supports speaker verification, uses a large vocabulary, and allows for simple integration without impedance to existing application source code. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A 5 year, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract w/ Time and Material Task orders is anticipated. Responses to this announcement must be received on or before 30 July 2001, 12:00 p.m. (eastern time) to be considered. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Numbered Note 22. .
