Description

The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to issue a sole source Purchase Order in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures to Standard and Poor's COMPUSTAT Services, Inc. for renewal of lease agreement. The lease provides usage of the CompuStat Plus and Corporate Text databases and software and are updated with lease renewal. The database will enable staff to verify and track changes in industry R&D expenditures and it's also needed for the preparation of the congressionally-mandated National Science Board report. The COMPUSTAT databases are not available through any other source without the written permission of SPCS. Users may contract directly with SPCS. The NAICS code 54172 applies. See Note 22; however, any offerors indicating capability to respond must do so within five days from the posting of this announcement rather than the 45 days indicated in Note 22.
