Description

The contractor shall provide all services necessary to conduct red tree vole surveys by collecting field data and by climbing Government-selected trees. All work shall be done as directed in "Survey Protocol for the Red Tree Vole (Arborimus longicaudus)" version 2.0, dated February 18, 2000. All survey work shall be done using survey transects spaced according to the specifications, covering 60% of the suitable habitat within project areas. Data shall be collected on proposed project units estimated to total 1,100 acres. The solicitation includes an option that allows for increased quantities not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the total contract price. Project sites are located in the Tillamook Resource Area, Salem District, Oregon. See Numbered Note(s): 1.
