Description

The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to issue a firm-fixed-price purchase order for the investigatation of the propagation of electromagnetic fields in Photonic Band Gap (PBG) materials. Emphasis will be placed on the experimental investigation of the time delay of light pulses that traverse finite, electro-optically tunable PBG structures. The period of performance for the effort will be six months. The proposed effort is restricted to the University of Dayton, 300 College Park, Dayton, OH 45469-0104. See Numbered Note 22.
