The FFM shall be capable of housing a microphone for two-way surface/in-water communications use during in-water decompression events. The FFM shall accommodate the attachment of a divers visual alarm display and shall be adjustable to fit a varying range of user sizes. PMS-EOD, at its' option may procure one to two of each of suitable candidate FFMs identified as a result of this sources sought announcement. Each candidate FFM will undergo evaluations to determine its ability to meet U.S. Navy Diving Life Support Safety Certification requirements. Following these evaluations, determination of the need for a formal RFQ will be made. There is no specific format or outline that the response must follow. Include other descriptive literature and any other specific and pertinent information that would enhance our consideration and evaluation of the information submitted. Firms responding should indicate whether they are a small business, a socially and economically disadvantaged business, or a woman-owned business. Please include two (2) copies of each response.
