- Mandatory, Site Survey Visit for Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at 10:00am (March ARB time). NO LATE ARRIVALS, will be allowed on the Site Survey Vist. To attend the Site Survey Visit, one shall provide the Name of the Company, the name of the attendees with social security numbers to Mr. Alan Avery via fax at 909-656-8070/8085. This information must be received by closed of business 4:30pm (March ARB time) on Friday, July 13, 2001. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical item prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U.S. Customs intends to award a purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Background: The AMICC requires that the existing cameras and associated security equipment be upgraded. The existing system is a used system obtained from the closed C3I facility in Homestead, Florida in 1988. Requirements: Furnish all labor and materials required to replace the existing camera system. Replacing the camera system shall include: Installing new outside color cameras to replace the existing 8 black and white cameras, and install new weatherproof camera housings to replace the existing ones. The installation of new video fibre optic cables which attach to the cameras and terminate in the Security Guard Office will be accomplished to replace the existing fibre optic cables. The digging of trenches may be required to install the new video cables if the use of the current conduit is not possible or practical. NOTE: Two camera poles have two cameras attached, each covering separate areas. Replace the 6 inside black and white cameras with color cameras, replace video cables with fibre optic cable, (which run from the cameras to the guard office), replace camera housings. Install 2 new inside color cameras complete with camera housings and video cable. One camera shall be located at the southeast corridor facing north, and the other new camera shall be installed at the northeast corridor facing west. All cameras shall be terminated to the security guard office. Current black and white monitoring system shall be replaced with Digital first line 32-camera Digital Recorder with Monitor, PC and Remote Viewing Software. The minimum specifications for the PC are: 100gb hardrive, 933 or 1gh system speed, cd, and cdr and floppy drive. Testing and certification of the entire system shall be accomplished before acceptance. Warranty: The required warranty for this project shall be a minimum of five years for all cameras, cabling, labor and materials. Clean-up: The contract is responsible for adequate clean-up and the remove of all debris from the premises following project completion. Safety: The contractor shall conform to all federal, state, and local laws and OSHA/EPA regulations. Adequate preparation must be taken to ensure personnel and the environment are protected. Government Furnished Property: Electricity and Water shall be provided . Security: Contractor personnel shall not enter building 605 without signing in at the Security Office and shall be escorted at all times while inside the building. Note: This order is subject to the 1965 SERVICE CONTACT ACT, and a wage determination for Riverside, CA will be incorporated into the purchase order at that time.
