Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center -- Newport has a requirement for the following cooling pump assembly components to be used in the MK48 MOD 6 Torpedo: 20 ea. Plate, ID; 1,000 ea. Vane; 80 ea. Head; 10 ea. Base Pump; 100 ea. Plate, Wear, Aft; 4 ea. Base Plate; 40 ea. Piston Valve; 40 ea. Housing Seal; 40 ea. Seat Valve; and 100 ea. Plate, Wear, Fwd. All items shall be manufactured to NUWC provided drawings. Delivery will be 45 days from award. Offerors must have been previously qualified by NUWC to manufacture these items. Drawings will be posted on the NUWC website along with the solicitation. The proposed contract action is for supplies, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate using SAP and commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13.
