Description

This combined synopsis/solicitation for aircraft tow tractor is modified as follows: The offer due date is changed to 3:00 P.M. Central, 16 JUL 01. The following question was received from industry -- QUESTION: The solicitation is a bit vague on the operator compartment(s). Obviously, there will be an operator's compartment with passenger seat in the front, however, it looks like you want an operator's compartment in the rear. It's normally called a "rear driving station". If this is what you want, do you want an open station, an enclosed half-cab station, or a full-cab enclosed station? I am not aware that FMC offers this on the 100,000 lb models, but maybe they do now since we do. We don't sell many with this feature, but we do sell enough to offer it as an option. ANSWER: There is only one compartment which is the front driving compartment. The compartment is not elevating. The paint color is changed to white. All other terms and conditions in the previous synopsis/solicitation remain the same.***
