Description

This is a Market Survey to identify potential sources for 60 Hydraulic Purification Evacuation Kit and 60 Drum Handling Cart (Optional). This is a sources sought request for commercial items and is not a request for a proposal or solicitation. The items required will need to be provided as listed or an equal item. If providing an equal item, vendors are requested to provide all technical data with your submission. The items required are as follows: 2 -- Drum Breather Adapters (2-inch bung) Stainless steel down tubes (MIL-T-8504) with angle cut at bottom end. Minimum ID 3/4-inch. Tubes extend down 26-inch from drumhead. 3/4-inch female quick disconnect compatible with a Pneudraulics 81014-1 male connection (NSN-4730-01-225-0465). With dust cap. Allow connection of filter to breather section of adapter. 2 -- Breather Filters Filter the air to 3 micron and remove humidity and moisture from the air. (Availability for spares) 2 Non-Breather Adapters (3/4-inch bung) Stainless steel down tubes (MIL-T-8504) with angle cut at bottom end. Minimum ID 3/8-inch. Tubes extend down 26-inch from drumhead. 3/4-inch male quick disconnect compatible with a Pneudraulics 81015-1 female connection (NSN-4730-01-224-2966). With dust cap. 1 -- 30-Gallon Steel Drum Tighthead Style Drum. Manufactured from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel -- 2B internal and external finish. Two openings on head (2-inch & 3/4-inch). Minimum Inside Depth 27-inch, Maximum Inside Depth 29-inch. Drum marked as follows: H-47 HYDRUALIC PURIFICATION ONLY DIRTY FLUID 1 -- 30-Gallon Steel Drum Tighthead Style Drum. Manufactured from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel -- #4 polished internal finish, 2B external finish. Two openings on head (2-inch & 3/4-inch). Minimum Inside Depth 27-inch, Maximum Inside Depth 29-inch. Drum marked as follows: H-47 HYDRUALIC PURIFICATION ONLY CLEAN FLUID 1 -- Handling Cart Capable of supporting and moving two (2) each 30-gallon drums filled with hydraulic fluid -- total load of 600 pounds with adequate stability. Capable of movement over semi-rough terrain. Air inflatable tires. Man hand able with towing option. All equipment required to secure drums to cart to be provided. All sources that are able to provide this equipment should submit their interest in writing to the Contracting Officer. Responses are due by 27 July 01 and can be mailed, emailed or sent by facsimile. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this "sources sought" announcement.
