Description

Project QJKL 00-0015, Repair Security Fence consists of the following work elements: (1) Remove existing chain link fencing, posts, gates and concrete bases, and remove, temporarily store and re-hang all existing security signs (2) Install new 7' high chain link fencing with barbed wire, two pedestrian gates, two swinging gates, two sliding gates and one 4' electronically operated slide gate with operator and 8 remote openers (3) Provide electrical supply for electronic slide gate to include cut & patch bituminous and repair lawn damage with sod (4) Install 24"w x 75' concrete sidewalk on east side of bldg. 802 (5) Remove one 6" shade tree, grind stump and restore area. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is forty calendar days (10 days for submittals and 30 days on-site performance). Due to security concerns, the installation of the new fencing is to be installed concurrently with the removal of the existing fencing not to exceed that which can be replaced within one to two days. The NAICS Code is 235990 -- All Other Special Trade Contractors and the size standard is $11.5 Million. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be issued o/a 30 July 2001 and opened o/a 31 August 2001. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after bid opening with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
