Description

The Architect of the Capitol has a requirement for a lightning protection system for the James Madison Memorial Building, Library of Congress located at 101 Independence Ave., S.E., Washington, D.C. The job is for design and installation of one new complete lightning protection system in compliance with Master Label provisions of UL 96A, "Installation Requirements for Lightning Protection Components." The system shall be designed to be as inconspicuous and unobtrusive as possible. The estimated value of this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. A site visit will be conducted and the specifics will be provided in the IFB. This requirement is issued as full and open competition. Requests for the bid package must be in writing and may be faxed to (202) 225-3221 or mailed to the Procurement Division, Room H2-263, Ford House Office Building, Second and "D" Streets, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20515. Request for the bid package must identify company name, address, telephone and fax numbers and a point of contact for the company. Telephone requests will not be honored.
