Description

Forest road repairs and decommissioning; Callahan/Elk ERFO on the Tiller Ranger District; 5 forest road failure sites are located in the Callahan and Elk Creek drainages 30-40 miles east of Canyonville, Oregon. Work includes excavation, roadway realignment, culvert installation, placement of gabion baskets, drainage structure construction, aggregate surfacing, asphalt surfacing, road obliteration and related road reconstruction work. This is a Request for Proposals requiring completion of a questionnaire; detailed technical proposals are not required; award evaluation criteria include technical capability specific to road failure (slump/slide) reconstruction and gabion baskets placement, and past performance history in addition to price; award may be made without discussions. This project may include separately priced option items for related work. The project magnitude is in the range between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code 234110. See Numbered Note 27.
